Vodafone Qatar posts 77% rise in net profit

Vodafone Qatar has reported an annual net profit of QR327 million in 2021, a 76.9 percent increase compared to the previous year, mainly driven by EBITDA growth, despite the impact of COVID-19. The Board of Directors recommended the distribution of a cash dividend of 6 percent of the nominal share value, i.e. QR0.06 per share. Vodafone Qatar commenced commercial operations in 2009 and has 1.9 million mobile customers as of Dec. 31, 2021.
