Under the patronage of Prime Minister and Minister of Interior HE Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al-Thani, the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology will organise the Smart City Expo Doha 2022 on March 29-30 under the title “Sustaining A Future Of Resilience”.
The event will bring together 60 speakers and specialists in the field of smart cities, high-profile local and international keynote speakers, more than 100 exhibitors and 2,500 guests from nearly 20 countries.
The global platform will address a host of issues related to sustainable cities, reshaping digital public services, global economy and digital readiness, and sports events in a connected society.
Speaking at a press conference on Tuesday, Assistant Undersecretary for Digital Society Development Affairs at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Reem Mohammed Al Mansouri, said the speakers participating in the conference will emphasize today’s most pressing challenges of climate change, environmental sustainability and smart urban planning.
She added that the experts will exchange innovative ideas on urban development and discuss how technology can improve the quality of life in cities and contribute in the growth of a knowledge-based economy.

knowledge that will be shared at Smart City Expo Doha 2022 would contribute to helping build a more technologically smart Qatar and shaping a
legacy of bright ideas for
future generations, she
said.
Nasser Matar Al Kuwari, the Chief Executive of Msheireb Properties which will host the event, underlined that Smart City Expo Doha 2022 comes in line with the vision and mission of Msheireb Properties to change the prevailing pattern of construction and provide smart cities that suit future generations and their requirements.
