Qatar receives rain, more likely until Tuesday: QMD

Qatar received rain of varying intensity on Saturday. More rain is expected, turning thundery at times, until Tuesday.
“Continuing to monitor rain of varying intensity, as it may turn into thundery in some areas. We remind you to be careful because of sudden strong winds that may accompany it,” Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD) said in a tweet.
The weather warning inshore Sunday is thundery rain and strong wind expected at places at times. The offshore warning adds high sea too.
“According to the latest updates of the weather maps it is expected that rains of varying intensity will continue in separate areas and at intermittent periods until tomorrow,” the QMD added.
The inshore forecast for the day is cloudy with chance of scattered rain may be thundery and slight dust to blowing dust at places at times.
