Qatar Chamber Chairman Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim al Thani participated on Tuesday in the coordination meeting which brought together members of the Arabic side in the Arab-French Chamber of Commerce with Arab ambassadors to France.
The meeting came in response to an invitation of HE the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the French Republic Sheikh Ali bin Jassim al Thani.
The meeting discussed issues related the Arab-French Chamber of Commerce and ways to strengthen Arab coordination towards them.
Commenting on the event, Sheikh Khalifa stressed the Qatar Chamber’s support for a unified Arab stance towards various economic and commercial issues, noting that the Arab-French Chamber of Commerce aims to develop and boost commercial ties and cooperation between decision makers in France and Arab countries.
Sheikh Khalifa also reiterated the close relation between Qatar and France, pointing out that their trade exchange amounted to $1.36 billion last year, which makes France the 14th trade partner to Qatar.
