More than 37,000 kilos of inedible produce removed from Al-Sailiya Central Market in January

More than 37,000 kilograms of spoiled and inedible food produce has been removed from Al-Sailiya Central Market and destroyed throughout January, the Ministry of Municipality has said.
Around 1,320 kilograms of imported potatoes were the latest to be destroyed after they were found to be unfit for human consumption. The ministry has recently pulled huge quantities of lemon and potatoes from the market and destroyed.
