SHBC was established in Kuwait in 1968 and registered in the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce under No. 14696 to provide contracting, and sub-contracting, for Architectural, Civil, Structural, Electrical, Communication, Mechanical and Radio & TV Transmission works.

SHBC is also registered with a number of Government ministries and agencies such as the Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Public Works, Ministry of Energy, Ministry of Communications, Ministry of Health and Kuwait Oil Company, Kuwait National Petroleum Company, the Central Agency for Public Tenders (CAPT) and other agencies in the following categories:

The Company is structured into various Divisions and is overall directed by the Chairman to oversee the progress and activities of the company. Each division is headed by an Assistant General Manager who conducts the daily activities of the division.

In performing projects undertaken by SHBC, the company relies entirely on its own staff for the management and construction activities and procurement of material and equipment from the local market as much as possible. However, when a project requires specialized expertise, special equipment and material or due to economical consideration and lack of availability in the local market, the company after careful evaluation of the relevant factors and options, looks to the International markets for manpower recruiting and purchasing of materials. To assist us in the above task we have established and maintained a strong relationship, based on trust and respect with manufacturers, suppliers, procurement and recruiting agents in the Far East, Europe, Canada, U.S.A. and other countries worldwide. SCOPE OF ASSESSED ACTIVITIES:
