Doha Bank’s Ordinary General Assembly on Wednesday endorsed the board’s recommendation to distribute cash dividends of QR0.075 per share to the shareholders
Speaking on the occasion, Doha Bank Chairman Sheikh Fahad bin Mohammad bin Jabor Al Thani announced that the ordinary general assembly of the shareholders endorsed the board of directors’ corporate governance report for 2021, balance sheet and profit and loss account for 2021.
During the same meeting, the chairman and board members were discharged from the responsibility for the year 2021 and agreed to pay remunerations for board members for this year. He also stated that the AGM has appointed ‘PwC’ to audit Doha Bank’s accounts for the year 2022.
During the EGM, the chairman announced that the shareholders have unanimously approved the proposed amendments of the Articles of Association of the Company in accordance with the amended commercial law for the year 2021 and authorised the chairman and/or the vice-chairman and/or the managing director to individually obtain the necessary approvals from the competent authorities, and make any modification to the Article of Association that might be required from any authorities and ratifying the authorisation.
Sheikh Fahad extended his sincere thanks and gratitude to the board members and to the shareholders, representatives of the supervisory authorities in Qatar and the auditors for attending these meetings and wished them all the success and prosperity.
