Amir to meet US President Biden today

His Highness the Amir of State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani arrived in Washington on Sunday morning on a working visit to the United States of America.
On his arrival at Andrews Air Force Base, HH the Amir was received by Chief of Protocol of the United States Rufus Gifford, the Commander of the 89th American Air Transport Support Group Colonel Carlos Alford, Qatar’s Ambassador to the United States of America HE Sheikh Meshaal bin Hamad Al Thani, and members of the Qatari Embassy in Washington.
HH the Amir is accompanied by an official delegation.
During the visit, HH the Amir will meet with President of the United States of America Joe Biden at the White House on Monday to discuss aspects of developing the existing strategic cooperation between the two countries in various fields. They will exchange views on regional and the most prominent international issues.
The visit constitutes a new step on the road to building and strengthening strategic cooperation between the two friendly countries to serve their common goals and interests.
