His Highness the Amir of State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and President of the Republic of Namibia Hage Geingob held an official talks session at the Amiri Diwan on Monday.
During the session, the two sides discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and the aspects of developing them in various fields, especially in the field of investment and energy. They also discussed a number of issues of common concern.
The session was attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs HE Dr Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Chief of Amiri Diwan HE Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani and Minister of State for Energy Affairs HE Saad bin Sherida Al Kaabi.
On the Namibian side, it was attended by Minister of Defense and Veterans Affairs Frans Kapofi and HE Minister of Mines and Energy Tom Alweendo. An official reception ceremony was accorded for the President of Namibia upon his arrival at the Amiri Diwan.
