In line with the gradual lifting of COVID-19 restrictions nationwide, the Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) has outlined a three-phased implementation plan between February and April. With Phase 1, which came into effect Tuesday, PHCC has initiated a ‘Back to Normal Plan’.
As part of the plan, all PHCC health centres will offer 50 percent face-to-face consultation across all services, such as the Family Medicine Model, Dental General, Dental Specialty and all specialty services. Virtual consultations will also continue to be provided, as per patient preference.
The Rawdat Al Khail Health Centre will continue to operate as a Covid-19 dedicated health centre, and drive-through swabbing services will be provided at PHCC health centres until further notice. In addition, SMART clinics and Dental services will function at 50%, while the Community Call Centre will offer urgent consultations.
