Amir, Slovenian president discuss ways to boost ties

His Highness the Amir of State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and President of the Republic of Slovenia Borut Pahor held an official talks session at the Amiri Diwan on Wednesday.
During the session, they reviewed bilateral relations and the ways to support and develop them in all fields, especially in investment and economy.
Also, they discussed a number of regional and international issues of concern to the two countries, including developments in the region.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Chief of Amiri Diwan HE Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, and Minister of Municipality HE Dr Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Subaie attended the talks session.
On the Slovenian side, Minister of Infrastructure Jernej Vrtovec and Minister of the Environment and Spatial Planning Andrej Vizjak attended the session.
On this occasion, HH the Amir hosted a luncheon banquet in honour of President of the Republic of Slovenia Borut Pahor and the accompanying delegation.
The Slovenian president had arrived earlier at the Amiri Diwan, where he was accorded an official reception.
