Amir, Malaysian PM discuss ways to strengthen relations

His Highness the Amir of State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and Prime Minister of Malaysia Ismail Sabri Yaakob held an official talks at the Amiri Diwan on Tuesday.
During the talks, they discussed aspects of developing joint cooperation, especially in the fields of economy and investment, in addition to exchanging views on the most prominent regional and international issues.
Prime Minister and Minister of Interior HE Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani, Chief of Amiri Diwan HE Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Minister of Municipality HE Dr Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Subaie, and Minister of State for Foreign Affairs HE Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi attended the session.
On the Malaysian side, it was attended by Minister of Foreign Affairs Saifuddin Abdullah, Minister of International Trade and Industry Mohamed Azmin Ali, Minister of Rural Development Mahdzir bin Khalid, and Deputy Minister of Works Arthur Joseph Kurup.
On this occasion, HH the Amir hosted a luncheon banquet in honour of the Prime Minister of Malaysia and the accompanying delegation.
The Malaysian PM had arrived earlier at the Amiri Diwan, where he was accorded an official reception.
